SUMMARY BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE OF THE PSYCHOLOGIST
Olga – Maria P. Kotopouli was born and raised in Patras.
She studied and received her degree in Psychology at the University of Crete in 2013.
For the next two years (2014-15) she attended the work of the University Psychiatric Clinic of the PGRP.
During the same period she was an associate of the Centre for Community Psychiatry of Southwestern Greece and
participated in group therapies for chronically ill patients and volunteered for individual sessions.
During the academic year 2015-16 she went to Great Britain, where she studied in the postgraduate programme in Health Psychology
at the University of Surrey.
During the same period she was also a research associate at the Breast Centre at Brighton University Hospital,
where she contributed to two research projects on the psychological impact of modern methods of diagnosis and
and surgical treatment in breast cancer patients.
In 2016, she founded the medical company Breast Care and Mental Health with Ioannis G. Haveles, where she works as a psychologist and health psychologist.
